Games in the Village Hall

Games/Contests

Do you enjoy playing games?

If so, join us for our Monday Game Night in the Village Hall from
6-8pm. There can be up to 13 different games of cards, board games, and other assorted games going on!

Other games like Hand and Foot and Dubs Bridge meet on other days and locations. For contact information on these activities and others in Champagne Village, see the Contact List here.

This is a fun way to meet new people and learn new games. Everyone is invited!

If you’re interested in Hand and Foot: The objective is to get rid of all the cards from your ‘Hand’, and then ‘Foot’ by melding them. A Meld is a set of 3 – 7 cards of the same rank that are placed face-up. It cannot have less than three cards or more than seven cards. A Meld belongs to the team, and not any individual player. It is an easy game to learn and a fun game to play. Come for the socializing and an enjoyable Monday afternoon.

Time: 12:15 start time every Monday afternoon

For Dubs Bridge: This game is played in tables of 4. After each hand the winners move to a new table. It is an easy game to play and tests your ability to adapt to new rules. One hand you may want to win and the next you want to lose. You might play your cards without ever looking at them or you might not be able to talk the whole game. We collect money for prizes and table treats, but at the end of the night prize monies are given out.

Time: 5:30 p.m. once a month on Friday night
