CV Lions Club
Who are Lions?
Lions are groups of service-minded men and women who are interested in improving their communities. We are young people, families, and senior citizens alike. To become a Lion is to become an active volunteer, a member of the respected largest international organization, a leader in the Village and a friend to people in need.
To become a Lion, you must be of legal majority, good moral character and good reputation in our community.
Membership is by invitation, so contact us today or come to one of our meetings to see if Lions Clubs is a good fit for you!
Become a Lion
We are working to make Escondido and our Village better places to live. We provide free vision equipment, free eye exams and glasses for those who cannot afford them. We vision screen young children. We refer to the Centers for the Blind and the Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation. We raise tens of thousands of dollars for Lion vision charities. We sponsor Student Speaker Scholarship contests. We provided a wheelchair life. We’re building. We’re sharing. We’re benefiting. And we have fun doing it! There are many reasons to become a member. As a CV Lion you will:
- Help your community
- Gain valuable skills
- Make an impact on people’s lives
- Learn to be a leader – and lead a respected organization
- Energize your life and have fun
You’ll grow personally and you’ll know that your service is worthwhile and appreciated.
