SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

An abundance of social activities for residents occur throughout the year by several clubs and organizations that operate here in the Village. Holiday events, picnics, lunch and coffee-time gatherings, free movies, concerts and plays… too many things to list here. Be sure to check the CV Times newsletter as well as our website’s calendar and the Mail Center bulletin boards.

Don’t miss out on the fun.

PETS

The dog walk area begins near the car wash and continues along Live Oak and up Ironwood, then ends at the intersection of Sumac. Within this area, dogs may be walked in wooded areas and along streets and sidewalks. Pets are NOT ALLOWED on the grass, on the stage or under the signing in the Picnic Area. Please observe all signs and pickup after your dog.

Dog walking is not permitted anywhere else in the Village.

A fenced Dog Park, located on Ironwood, allows for your dogs to be off leash. Dogs must always be on a leash when not in the Dog Park, and owners must securely hold the leash at all times.

YAPPY HOUR in the Dog Park (3:00pm – 5:30pm daily) lets both residents and their dogs socialize together.

Saturday & Sunday
10:00am – 4:00pm
Holidays, 10:00am – 2:00pm

FRONT GATE ACCESS
FOR YOUR GUESTS DURING HOURS
When you’re expecting guests or vendors, let the Front Gate Kiosk know in advance (760) 749-7723 or cvfrontgate@gmail.com. Your guests will not be granted access without either advance notice or phone verification from you.

Family members or vendors who regularly visit you can be added to a list so you won’t need to call ahead: contact the Kiosk for details.

TRASH PICKUP

Trash pickup occurs every Thursday. For a holiday schedule or details on pickup of specific materials, check the front page of your CV Times newsletter or visit EscondidoDisposal.com.

EDI-provided trash containers must be used. Don’t place at the curb any earlier than 4:00pm the prior day, and be sure to take them in soon after pickup. All trash and recycle containers must be kept in an area that’s not easily visible from the street.

GRAY is for trash.
GREEN is for landscape waste and other organic materials.
BLUE is for recyclable materials.

GRANTING YOUR GUESTS ACCESS AFTER HOURS
When the Kiosk is closed, a keypad and telephone entry system is used to grant access to your guests. This keypad is located on the front of the Kiosk.

When your guest pulls up to the Kiosk, they must use the keypad to enter your four-digit code: this the number 8 followed by your 3-digit space number. (i.e. space #5 is 8005, space #55 is 8055, space #155 is 8155, etc.).

Once the four-digit code is entered, your phone will ring.
When you answer your phone, you’ll be able to speak directly with the guest at the keypad.

To grant access to this guest, press the number 9 key on your phone for one full second: this will open the Gate and disconnect the call.

To deny access to this guest, simply hang up your phone.
